Underground Belgrade contains tens of caves and caverns, which people carved in limestone rocks, hundreds of underground tunnels, countless buried wells, walled rivers, but, above all, structures that are remains of peoples who settled Belgrade.
We will visit Roman Hall in which we will briefly introduce some sites that are present beneath the surface of today's Belgrade, and have witnessed its turbulent history 7000 years long.
In the bunker from the time of Cominform, period of Cold War after World War 2, we will get to know with some Yugoslavian spy secrets and Tito's political games between 2 big political blocks.
At the big gunpowder warehouse we will have the chance to touch the walls of the cave which Austro-Hungarians built in 18th century as part of the fortress called Gibraltar on Danube, which served as the defense of Cristian Europe against Turkish Empire.
