ANNEKE Van GIERSBERGEN to play in Sofia on 21 April 2012
The mesmerizing singer and her band will headline one of the concerts this Spring for the radio Tangra Mega Rock SIXTH Anniversary bash.
This will be the first EVER concert of ANNEKE Van GIERSBERGEN and her band in Sofia. They closed the party at the JD Rock Arena at the Spirit of Burgas 2011 festival last Summer, but have never played in the Bulgarian capital before.
ANNEKE’s European tour is called 'Everything Is Changing Tour' and will kick off in support of her brand new studio album 'Everything Is Changing Tour' set to be released on 20 January.
The Sofia date 21 April (Saturday) at *MIXTAPE 5* club where ANNEKE Van GIERSBERGEN and her band will play a 90 minutes set of the new album, plus some older material and some songs from Anneke's work with The Gathering and Devin Townsend.
A local support band will be announced soon.
TICKETS priced 35 BGN (18 Euro) are available through www.Eventim.bg. They will go up to 40 BGN at the door.
The concert is supported by JACK DANIEL'S.
After leaving The Gathering in the Summer of 2007, van Giersbergen went solo, naming her band Agua de Annique. Now she’s already working under her own name ANNEKE Van GIERSBERGEN.
