Multi Platinum band OneRepublic chose Sofia – they are coming on June 2nd!
The authors of “Counting Stars”, “If I lose myself” and „Apologize” promise a spectacular show

Star band OneRepublic will perform for the very first time in Bulgaria on June 2nd in “Arena Armeec” at the invitation of BALKAN ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY. The authors of „Counting Stars”, “If I lose myself”, „Love runs out”, „Apologize”, “Good Life” and many more hits had chosen Sofia as one of the stops of their world Native Tour. We will have the chance to hear live the boys from the famous American band who are constantly hitting the charts and hearts of thousands of music fans.

“It is extremely rare for a band in the peak of their career to be interested in making a show in East Europe. This makes me even happier for OneRepublic’s positive answer and I look forward to this show. I believe that the Bulgarian public is ready for the good music of 21st century and will warmly welcome OneRepublic in 6 months.” said Peter Petrov from Bаlkan Entertainment Company.

There is no person left who hasn’t heard the single that launched them, “Apologize”. The track is featured in OneRepublic’s first album DREAMING OUT LOUD (2007), which leads world top charts and definitely won the international success of the band. Two years later they issue WAKING UP and it complements their style with an impressive hybrid of pop and rock with elements of electronic music, gospel, blues and folk. “All the Right Moves”, “Secrets” and “Good Life” are part of this second album. OneRepublic get bolder with their super successful album NATIVE, released in 2013 March, including worldwide smash hit “Counting Stars,” “Love Runs Out,” and current single, “I Lived.” Reached number 4 in the ranking of Billboard Top 200, it offers an overdose of spirited, rhythmic, yet airy and soft rock. Freshness is infinitely essential to OneRepublic, who foremost aspired to make Native a “very modern record, a snapshot of life in 2013,” according to their lead singer Ryan Tedder. “It’s so important to us that every album be an evolution, where we make these huge lateral movements with our sound and then from there write a bunch of great songs”.

Tickets for OneRepublic go on sale on November 28th, Friday.
