Grigor Dimitrov is coming home for Sofia Open 2020


The biggest star of Bulgarian tennis Grigor Dimitrov is coming home for Sofia Open 2020. He will participate in the fifth edition of the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Sofia, which will be held at a new time of the year - from September 27 to October 4 at the Arena Armeec.

Grigor Dimitrov is the 2017 Sofia Open champion. Three years ago the fan favorite won his sixth ATP title and the first in front of the Bulgarian audience - and his inspirational season concluded with the biggest career title at the Nitto ATP Finals in London.  And now in 2020, Grigor Dimitrov and the Bulgarian fans will have the opportunity to experience new unforgettable emotions together at the Arena Armeec.

The fourth edition of the Sofia Open has been the strongest ATP Tour 250 tournament of the season. Five of the participants in 2019 - the champion Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Matteo Berrettini, Gael Monfils and the champion in 2016 Roberto Bautista Agut, finished the year in the Top 10 on the ATP Tour, and Stan Wawrinka and Karen Khachanov finished the year in the Top 20.

Sofia Open 2020 promises top-level tennis and a real spectacle for the audience with the first announced name, and the most awaited by the Bulgarian fans - Grigor Dimitrov - who has made it back into the Top 20 and is looking at the Top 10.

The price of the package tickets for the last four days, including the semi-finals and the finals, is not only lower than the price of the individual tickets purchased for those 4 days (October 1-4), but also gives a special bonus - free voucher for the first 4 days (September 27-30) of the tournament. Thus, the package tickets for the 8 days of Sofia Open 2020 cost 165 leva, 235 leva and 315 leva.
