“The Godfather” is returning on the big screen with live symphony orchestra

Francis Ford Coppola’s timeless masterpiece will be presented LIVE in National Palace of Culture inNovember 2015

One of favorite masterpieces to generations of film lovers - The Godfather (1972) is returning to the wide screen in HD, more compelling than ever. Thanks to the CineConcerts concept, Francis Ford Coppola timeless classic will be presented in Hall 1 of NDK LIVE with a symphony orchestra on November 7 & 8, 2015. For the first time we will hear live the unforgettable and iconic score from the first part of the trilogy, work of the composer Nino Rota.

A Grammy Award winner, “The Godfather” score is acknowledged as one of the most recognizable film soundtracks ever written. The Paramount Pictures film won three Academy Awards® including Best Picture, Best Actor (Marlon Brando) and Best Adapted screenplay (Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola). “The Godfather” has been named the greatest film ever made by Empire Magazine, Entertainment Weekly and Hollywood Reporter. It is currently ranked at number two in IMDB’s list of the all-time greatest films.

CineConcerts concept is brand new, and the premiere of the first performance THE GODFATHER LIVE was on December 8, 2014 in sold out Royal Albert Hall in London. The show then embarks on a European tour of 25 cities in 2015, including Sofia. The Godfather Live is a celebration of the cinematic classic that is regularly cited as one of the greatest films ever made.                The multi-generational saga tells the story of the Corleone family with the remarkable appearance of Marlon Brando and Al Pacino.
