FSB

FSB (short for “Formation Studio Balkanton”) is a Bulgarian progressive rock band formed in Sofia in 1975, initially as a studio project. The group went on to become one of the notable acts in Bulgarian rock music, achieving significant success during the 1980s and performing in numerous European countries.

The lineup of FSB has included various musicians throughout its history, with Rumen Boyadzhiev, Konstantin Tsekov and Ivan Lechev among the band's central figures. Boyadzhiev and Tsekov have been members since the group's formation in 1975, while Lechev joined in 1979. The three musicians have formed the core of FSB and continue to be associated with the band's lineup.

An important chapter in FSB's international career was their collaboration with Puerto Rican singer and guitarist José Feliciano. Their work together resulted in the album “I'm Never Gonna Change”, and in 1990 FSB received a Grammy Award in connection with the project. With their distinctive combination of progressive rock, keyboard-driven arrangements and vocal harmonies, FSB have secured a lasting place in the history of Bulgarian popular music.
