HAVASI

Balázs Havasi is a Hungarian pianist and composer, born on 18 September 1975. He began playing the piano at the age of four and went on to study at the prestigious Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where he was taught by Sándor Falvai and Jenő Jandó. During his studies, he won first prize at a piano competition organized by the Yamaha Foundation of Europe.

At just 21, Havasi began teaching at the Weiner Leó Conservatory. In 2000, he signed a five-year recording contract with EMI, during which he produced two soundtrack albums. After the contract ended, he chose an independent path and established his own record company, allowing him to develop his original musical projects on his own terms.

Between 2005 and 2008, he independently released four solo piano albums – "Piano", "Seven", "Infinity" and "RED". As a contemporary composer, Havasi has developed projects that combine classical musical traditions with modern sonic concepts, including compositions for symphony orchestra, rock drums and solo piano.
