WORLD-RENOWNED INTERACTIVE EXHIBITION "GIANT BUGS" MAKES ITS EXCLUSIVE DEBUT IN VARNA THIS SUMMER
VARNA, BULGARIA — This summer, the Sea Garden in Varna will transform into a spectacular open-air scientific ecosystem as the highly anticipated interactive exhibition "Giant Bugs" makes its premier debut in the Maritime Capital. Following monumental success across China, Canada, the US, and Romania—captivating over 1.2 million visitors worldwide—this international exposition will be located outdoors next to the Pantheon from June 1st to September 5th. Brought to life by Coco Agency and the Bulgarian Children's Festival in close partnership with the Municipality of Varna and the Varna Regional Administration, this massive summer project blends education, science, and adventure, firmly establishing Varna as a premier destination for family tourism.
Crafted by an international team of scientists from Bulgaria, China, and the US, the exhibition reshapes the park into an incredible real-world biotope, allowing families to explore the micro-world on a massive scale. The display features over 30 imposing, fully animated, and exceptionally realistic giant insect replicas, serving as a massive open-air natural science museum that combines scientific accuracy with interactive entertainment. Visitors will come face-to-face with an array of awe-inspiring displays, including a 2-meter ladybug, a towering 4-meter scorpion, a terrifying 3-meter spider, and a fully functioning colony of red ants.

The admission fee covers all-day access, granting visitors the freedom to enter, exit, and re-enter the exhibition grounds multiple times within the same day. Tickets are priced at €10 for adults, €8 for children, pupils, students, and retirees, while children under 3 years old enjoy free admission. The retail ticket network allows tickets to be purchased on-site at the box offices, online via Eventim.bg, and through physical partner locations including OMV, Bulgarian Posts, and Technopolis.
