Kula Shaker are an English psychedelic rock band led by frontman Crispian Mills. Rising to prominence during the Britpop era of the 1990s, the group became known for combining guitar-driven rock with influences from traditional Indian music, instruments and culture.

Kula Shaker achieved major UK success between 1996 and 1999 with Top 10 singles including "Tattva", "Hey Dude", "Govinda", "Hush" and "Sound of Drums". Their 1996 debut album "K" reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. Songs such as "Tattva" and "Govinda" also reflected the band's Indian influences through the use of Sanskrit lyrics.

After disbanding in 1999, Kula Shaker reunited during the 2000s and returned with "Strangefolk" in 2007 and "Pilgrims Progress" in 2010. Further releases included "K 2.0" in 2016 and "1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love and Free Hugs" in 2022. The band continued its recording career with "Natural Magick" in 2024 and "Wormslayer" in 2026.
